Ontario Hospitals Can Now Procure, Implement and Scale SeamlessMD’s Patient Engagement Technology More Quickly

​The Ontario Telemedicine Network (OTN) has validated three vendors offering mature and market tested self-management tools that standardize surgical pathways and improve patient engagement before, during and after surgery.

A rigorous process was applied to identify and qualify these third-party virtual care solutions. An innovative procurement approach was used to establish a provincial Vendor of Record (VOR), supported by all 14 of Ontario's LHINs, that can be readily utilized by Broader Public Sector organizations to acquire these virtual care solutions. The VOR can be accessed through OTN's Innovation Centre.

SeamlessMD has qualified as one of the three vendors and was the only Canadian company selected by OTN as part of this initiative. SeamlessMD provides the leading Patient Engagement and Quality Improvement platform for health systems to deliver value-based models of care, including Enhanced Recovery After Surgery (ERAS), Perioperative Surgical Home (PSH), prehabilitation, readmissions prevention, bundled payments and Patient Reported Outcome (PRO) data collection.
